We have been using this app for a while but suddenly having an issue with assigning the product to each shipping rule. We did not make any changes nor added a new app but suddenly these problems occurred so we can not update any products at the moment which is impacting the sales. I contacted via phone which never really works so contacted via customer service email to ask for help with the matter. They offered to help but still no updates and no follow-up. This is very frustrating. I understand that we are not the only client they have but this is very disappointing with the customer service and no help since the problem occurred which passed 26+ hours. PLEASE HELP US TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE WITH THE APP!

UPDATE: Our problem occurred on Monday around 11:50 AM CDT so we notified the app via email. Then on Monday at 11:27 PM CDT, we received an email from them regarding the solution that might help to fix the issue but it was almost after 12 hours since the email has been sent. On Tuesday at 3:56 AM, I checked their email but the solution they offered did not work so asked for further assistance to resolve the issue. Then at 10:19 AM (Tuesday), the team offered to forward our issue to the developer. Since that email, all throughout Tuesday, I sent 4 emails in total because this was an urgent issue with our online. But, no update or no communication came through. At that point, I had no option but to leave a review because it passed more than 26+ hours since I reported the problem to the app customer service. Thankfully, my review grab the attention of the owner, he was able to communicate with me personally, explained the current situation, and helped to expedite the process. Our website shipping is heavily dependent on this app since we are dealing with complicated shipping methods. And once this caused an issue, most of the sales which are coming from out-of-town customers could not submit any orders which were very urgent matters to our small business. The owner explained why their response was delayed and apologized for the matter which I truly appreciated. With their help, we were able to fix the issue on Wednesday. They explained what caused these issues and assured us this will not happen again. However, I hope that the person who first checked my email regarding the issue could have been thoughtfully looked into the matter and escalated the problem to the developer. Thank you for all your help.

Thanks for your complaint. We could have done better. Our assessment at the time was that this error was only preventing new rates from being configured, rather than existing rates failing and so we didn’t treat your matter urgently. We don’t have developers available to respond to non-critical on short notice. Instead the problem was fixed in around 20 hours. We realize now that not being able to configure a new rate was critical and urgen for you, and your follow up emails deserved a more rapid response. We are sorry. We will try to do better next time. And at least the issue you at has been fixed for you and all users, so we appreciate the feedback.

Excellent app that filled an unmet need for us: the ability to calculate shipping as a percentage of order total price. The app developer is highly responsive to feature requests, and implemented our request to allow for a cap (max shipping price) above a certain order amount. In a business where managing shipping costs is crucial (furniture), these features have been indispensable in driving new conversions!

We looked at many shipping apps and Advanced Shipping Rules was the only one that does everything we need. It's amazing the flexibility this app provides. Brian was also always available to help with questions and setup. Being able to call him is a HUGE help although he also replies to emails in a timely manor. Thanks so much Brian!

This app is easy to use, their help is great.
The app is set up for categories for shipping and does shipping charges stacking.
So if more than one category is purchased by the customer then they are charged for each shipping category. This makes a huge bill for shipping that is not needed to consolidate the actual items to be shipped. Therefore a lot of high refunds are required to make the shipping charges correct. We do not get back the fees on the refunds. Overall this is way too costly to pay a Monthly premium and give away the fees that are included for the initial shipping that we do not get back when we refund to the customer.

First off, setting up shipping with Shopify is definitely daunting at first, specially for newbies such as myself, it is no easy task.
With ASR, everything is pretty much automated specially with Printful.
The customer service in itself is 5 stars, which is rare
You definitely get what you paid for and then some.

I started my shop with Shopify shipping and found it was costing me WAY too much in inaccurate shipping rates. I contacted Advanced Shipping on the recommendation of a Shopify Guru. BEST thing I ever did.

I'm saving more money than the app costs easily. I shut down when it comes to this kind of set up. It baffled me. But once Brian personally walked me through it and answered all my questions, I can continue on my own ...
Brian was patient and fun. I needed that. I feel so relieved now that my fulfillment shop has it's shipping as automated and accurate as it can be.

Leaves me time to so much more! Thanks, Brian!

Excellent app! Easy to install and configure! When I did my initial setup, I had some issues and called for support! I got immediate help and solved my problem within a matter of minutes! Tech support it top notch! I have products that are being shipped from five different vendors. That alone can be difficult, but Advanced Shipping Rules made it easy! One vendor in particular is a nightmare to ship from. Advanced Shipping Rules to the rescue.

I trying to use free shipping when users order general items with free shipping item. Setting is little bit complicated, but this it is awesome APP, and support was really fantastic! Thank you, Molly:) Shopify(アプリじゃなくて)の配送設定は基本プロファイル以外の設定があるとブレンドレートがうまく動作しないことを知らず悩み続けていましたが、サポートに問い合わせたらすぐに確認いただけ丁寧に対応していただけました。

After banging my head of the wall today by trying to find the appropriate app for my needs, Advanced Shipping Rules came like the light at the end of the tunnel.

I believe this is the only app on the Shopify app store market that is user-friendly and easy to set up when the rates per variations are in question (in my case, some of the products have multiple variations, and each variation has a different shipping price which usually is a headache to setup).

And ofc. support was beyond expectations with helping me how to enroll... 5 stars easily; would give it 10 though.

This is the best shipping product out there, it has the PO Box no delivery rule, free shipping rules. Every option that we needed. We highly recommend this app. Support is great, instant response and quick to resolve all issues.
