I think I used this app when first setting up my website. It was some time ago so I don't quite remember but it was showing in the list of apps in my store.
Anyway, after recently clicking on the app in error, I've been bombarded with pushy emails, even though I replied to explain I don't require their services, the hounding emails continue to come.
It's not professional and certainly not a way to retain customers. I most certainly will never use this app in the future because of this terrible practice.

Duplicate Accounts: One of the issues that clients sometimes face involves duplicate customer accounts. This typically happens when orders from your previous store are not linked to specific customer accounts. Shopify requires all orders to be associated with a customer profile, so during migration, we create accounts for unlinked orders. EAN Field Not Migrated: We understand that the review mentioned the EAN field not being transferred. Cart2Cart does not advertise this field as part of the migration by default, as outlined in our Migration Options:https://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/shopping-cart-migration-options/1072-prestashop-to-shopify-migration. Although fields like GTIN, EAN, and Barcode are often requested, this can depend on Shopify’s system limitations. Weight Units Issue: The review mentioned problems with weight units. This issue is fully resolvable within Shopify's settings. This was one of the smartest decisions I have made in a LONG time. I was fleeing BigCommerce (like most small to mid-sized sellers are when BigCommerce inexplicably decided to triple their prices.)
I am still in the process of finishing the site, but it brought over 100+ items, images, copy, and thousands of customer records successfully. The only PITA is it also triggered an email to me for each old order as it built the customer records. So I literally got thousands of emails. :-) Look for a way to turn this off before you do your migration. Note that the store linked to this review is not the store we migrated, but apparently I was signed in to one of our other Shopify accounts when I left this review. Oh well.
I had 100 items plus thousands of orders to migrate from BigCommerce to Shopify. I was going to hire a Virtual Assistant to rebuild it. I found Cart2Cart in a Google search, and decided to give it a try.
Literally the best money I have spent lately. With upgrades, I was in for less than $200 after searching in vain for a promo code and not finding one. The setup for the migration took less than 5 minutes (and I am somewhat computer illiterate). I did the test migration, it looked perfect, and I then paid for and did the full migration. It worked perfectly. Actually, even better than I thought as it also brought over imbedded videos (I didn't realize it would bring over youtube videos, etc...)
I had to manually bring over some of the other non-product centric pages, but 99% of what I was about to pay someone 40 hours to do was done in a few minutes worth of my time (plus a couple of hours of migration digitally that Cart2Cart did.
I am not affiliated with the company in any way, nor was I compensated in any way to leave them a review. In fact, the opposite is true. I paid for their services, and got exactly what they promised I would get (and in my opinion, maybe a bit more).
I have already recommended them to a circle of entrepreneurs I travel in. Worth every dollar I paid them. I also bought the link upgrade (to model the same SEO links/urls) and that worked perfectly.
Great SAAS product. Thanks again, Cart2Cart. I hope I don't need you in the future, but if I do I would not hesitate to buy your service again.
The absolute worst user experience and service. The flow of this product is so terrible because it tricks you into continuously looping through setup so that it can continue to charge your card, and it also adds "migration insurance" (whatever that is" onto your card. The people who run the support are 0 helpful, I'm not even sure they work at this company.
We signed up for the service migration package and paid over $1000 to help us speed up and streamline the migration from our magento store, unfortunately we are on day 12 and we have not yet had one full migration, it stops and technical support takes a very long time to be able to respond. We are ready for any help they need from our side, and requested they call anytime. Sales support is quick and 24/7, but it doesn't help because they keep telling you they will give it through to tech support so there is a big lag and delay in communication and execution. We thought they were in Canada or the US as stated on the app page so we can be on the time zone. It appears they are not. Our business is depended on a timely migration because it is a live store, with active customers and sales. We have to disable the firewall and security on our live magento while they run the migration, and it puts our live site at risk and makes the performance very low and slow. We have struggled for almost two weeks now to attempt to communicate that we need them to please prioritise help when a migration starts. It has been very stressful and frustrating. I think they could have a great app, but the practical implementation and available tech support for a live online store with high risk of loss with days of delay this is not an advisable option.
Support was always available (migration from Magento) and they were very helpful with the whole process. Would recommend.

Amazing experience! Was skeptical at first for use on a complex Shopify to Wordpress migration boasting more than 10K products and 20K images. Any and all concerns were quickly forgotten. We migrated images, orders, customers, products, pages, posts, discounts, categories, and tags flawlessly. What minor issues I did encounter were addressed in hours by the fantastic support team. Upsell recomendations were valuable and context relavent. Would not have been aware of or purchased without critical feedback from the sales staff. HIGHLY recommended!
