Have a small new webshop, and needed more personal service and ability to let potential customers know I'm there with a chat bot. ChatWay was installed, and it has a lot of features, and AI driven answers that indexes the webshop and can be given precise instructions. And this is the free version basics, really what I needed (for now) to hopefully grow.

I am using this app for my small store, where I get 1-2 chats every day. The free version of the app works great for this. Planning to upgrade later on when I get more chat messages and can discover more features

I am very satisfied with this application. It has professional and patient online customer service staff who can provide answers to frequently asked questions(Especially Marvin, who gave me a lot of help.). In addition, the free version comes with user-friendly features. I highly recommend this app to all sellers.

Great app that I have been using daily. Being able to converse with customers in 'real time' via the chat inbox has been very useful in building trust and converting sales. Marvin has worked with me to implement an improvement, and kept in contact to let me know once the issue was addressed. Would recommend this app :)

The app works well and the inbox feature is great. My website performance has increased (the last chat app I had took up to many resources) but with Chataway I dont have this issue anymore.

All the chats are accessbile in your email inbox so you never miss a chat from your store. The support team is top notch and I am very satisfied with this app.

So far so good. I am currently on the free plan and don't see any limitations to the app. I receive all alerts into an inbox that can be accessed through a mobile app or through Shopify. I am able to reply to customers in real time.

UPDATE: Premio-Chatway: "I admitted our mistake and said we're sorry"

Although this was the response we received in the email, we were saddened to read the company’s statements blaming us. Please also read the other 1-star review. We are experiencing the same issues as Kherish.

1. We don’t encounter this issue with any other popular Shopify chat applications; we’ve tested them all.
2. If you use this app, you will not only face the issue of the X not closing but also experience an infinite scroll problem on your cart page.
3. You will miss out on features like AI-powered responses and great auto-replies based on customer messages.
4. Karina and Marvin won’t trust your screenshots and screen-cast unless you purchase the related device and test it yourself.
5. For two weeks, they made us struggle until Gal, the owner of the company, came and said, “Yes, there’s an issue; let’s fix it.” No action was taken until we gave a 1-star review.
6. The support team ignored our messages, didn’t respond despite reading the messages in chat, and kept sending the same responses. During the conversation, they abruptly ended it with, “If there’s nothing else, we’re closing this"

- We received complaints from customers about the chat balloon not closing after being opened. Despite testing the issue on real devices and providing a video as evidence, Karina, Marvin, and their team refused to acknowledge the problem.
- Later, Karina admitted, "I reproduced the issue," which we documented with a screenshot. However, the following day, they claimed, "We didn’t do anything; there’s no issue."
- This behavior is consistent with how they’ve handled previous issues—they repeatedly deny problems, even when clear evidence is presented.
- They argue that the video recording was taken via a browser, yet the same issue persists on real devices.
- Additionally, they have significantly increased their prices.
- The application noticeably slows down the website’s performance.
- Once this busy period concludes, we plan to switch to a different application.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. During our investigation, we found that your website has several jQuery errors unrelated to Chatway, which complicated the debugging process. These errors are still present on the website and were not caused by our product. Despite this, we identified and resolved the specific issue related to Chatway. However, we understand that you chose to use another product from our offerings.

Additionally, we tested the Chatway app using tools like PageSpeed Insights and confirmed that it does not negatively impact website performance.

Just installed it. Much better interface than native shopify app. The big thing for us was the size of the icon. The shopify inbox app was covering up payment icons and overlapping some buttons in mobile view. But after installing chatway, we see many more options that we previously didn't think we needed so that was a nice plus.
