Do not install this channel, it will just make a mess with your Facebook shop taking control of it and not allowing you anymore to have checkout on Facebook. Just stay in FB with their manager and update your products manually (even if it is a long process). Support is as awful as the channel!

My shop hasn't been published because it doesn't comply with your Commerce eligibility requirements, but they don't tell me what requirements do not comply with. Nobody helps you.

I'm really having a hard time connecting Instagram to my Shopify account, despite repeated attempts, and supposedly being approved by Meta / Facebook... Not sure what to do.

Installing Shopify's Facebook Channel one of the worst decisions I made in terms of using Shopify integration for third-party features. I had an approved shop running on Facebook for years. This time it had tons of errors and re-installation. It was approved, but when I reinstalled it to fix errors (per Shopify CS team direction), Facebook suddenly rejected it. Then I uninstalled the channel again and Shopify remained an admin on my Facebook business account, and could not be removed without permission. On top of that both Shopify and Facebook gave lousy support for this integration. My Facebook page hasn't been the same since, and Facebook suddenly didn't trust my login and temporarily blocked me from my own page.

I can definitely agree that this sounds like a very stressful and frustrating experience given that you were approved by Facebook initially. account got restricted before adding in any of my products, theres always an issue with facebook shop and after three times of requesting reviews, its always an accident then they restrict me again.

Leider wird der Facebookshop nicht angenommen. Laut Facebook Support Mitarbeitern liegt es an dieser App, dass die Einrichtung nicht geklappt hat.
I have always been able to create facebook post and ad campaigns through shopify marketing until the meta integration. Very frustrating!!!

la instalé buscando vender a través de mi cuenta de INSTAGRAM y nunca se pudieron sincronizar los precios. En mi página están los reales, pero si un usuario ingresa desde Instagram éste muestra solo unos pocos productos y con precios super descabellados. Además no encontré el soporte requerido con Instagram ni facebook, META. El soporte se remite a leer tutoriales, ver videos y seguirlos, pero a pesar que lo hice el problema de los precios persiste.

I used this app to help me integrate my new shopify store with facebook but after running ads for less than a week my ad account was disabled. The problem is with facebook AI and this app not working properly and I see other customers with the exact same issue.

Robyn here from Shopify. Thank you for taking the time to share your review of the Facebook Channel with us. I'm sorry to hear of the struggles you are facing with restrictions on your Ad account. Shopify doesn't have a hand in restricting Ad accounts as this comes directly from Facebook, however I'm going to look closer at your store to see if there is anything I can do to help, and follow up with you in an email.

I'm having problems since yesterday to configure the pixel in the Virtual Store -> Preferences -> configure facebook (pixel), it just returns the error "Sorry, something went wrong.
We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can."
