I like the way the app syncs with Facebook and Instagram however I've had multiple issues sorting out the pixel. Facebook meta teams say I need to contact Shopify and Shopify team says I need to contact Facebook, so I am very frustrated at this very point!
I can post to Instagram, but my Shopify catalog won't let me post to Facebook?
Although it's great having the integration, the process and steps required to setup a Facebook store are not very clear. Since we started with Shopify first and then setup Facebook, it would have been great to have more information about the Facebook setup requirements as it pertains to Shopify.
The shop integration itself is setup but other than tagging products in posts - which only work in the mobile app - I'm unable to display a link to the shop on my Facebook business page. Each time I try to change the action button setup it prompts me for setup/login into Shopify and ultimately takes me to my existing shop without ever adding it to my Business page action button.
They have made the app much harder to deal with, but after taking ages to figure it out, it works fine.
Difficult to work with, and they send confirmation codes to use, but give no screen or field to enter the code.
Difficult to setup and sync between Shopify and Facebook/Instagram shopts.
This app has always been flakey. I've found it disconnected from time to time. Also, I can't activate PayPal because the button doesn't work. Finally, I was surprised to find that all my products had a 10% discount automatically applied.

I found it diffcult to list products as some would be declined without an explanation as to why this was, other than 'commerce policies'. This didn't help me rectify the problem with editing product descriptions etc., the specific issue needs to be given. The help from the developers was limited.
The app is fine however I got several sales during the holidays and since my items are personalized and have custom options I had to track these people down. This however was not as easy as emailing them or reaching out to them through the fB shop. They never either got the messages or they were never sent. I have no idea how you FB can force something on shops that just doesn't work.
