My name is carmen Proctor. I am the owner of Blushbeam.co.uk. I thought that Facebook and Instagram were easy to set up, but I am in the process of hiring a freelancer who has the expertise to completely set up Facebook and Instagram for me. The pixel tracking on Facebook is very hard to set up. Facebook need to make that system simple for individuals who do not have the money to pay a freelancer to set up Facebook. When I fix something on Facebook, some else goes wrong; it's getting too hard.

Please allow commerce shops in facebook & instagram shops to edit their business information seperately from shopify source. Such as business address seperate from shopify billing details.

We've been using the Facebook & Instagram app by Meta on our Shopify store to connect our product catalog with social media, and overall, the experience has been mixed. Our product catalog syncs automatically, making it easy to tag products on Instagram and Facebook, which has helped boost product visibility. The built-in connection with the Meta Pixel also allows us to track customer behaviour and run retargeting ads effectively. However, the initial setup process is not beginner-friendly. It involves multiple steps—from verifying the domain to linking the correct Business Manager, Catalog, and Ad Account—and can be frustrating if you're not familiar with Meta’s backend systems. Approval for Instagram Shopping took longer than expected and lacked clear feedback. Support through the app is limited, and most issues require navigating Facebook Business Manager, which isn't always intuitive. Despite the challenges, the app is a powerful tool for selling across Meta’s platforms once everything is connected properly. For small business owners or new users, there’s a learning curve, but it’s worth the effort. We’d rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

While the interface can feel cluttered at times and the algorithm doesn't always show relevant content, it's still one of the most versatile social media tools available. This app helps to simplify staying on top of your Meta Ads, which products are synced, and which are having problems. I do with it provided more specific information when it tells me "something is wrong."

Why am I still getting error connecting my shopify to Facebook & Instagram? Also, getting yellow banner stating application requires further action from me?

I love it! Bring me new customer that I know that are real and the extra layer of protection and the social creditability for my small business.

Setup was a little tedious, but once you have connected your store correctly there is nothing else to worry about, has worked well as a sales channel for me.

I find the Meta Business Manager to be quite complicated, so I appreciate that this app makes it easier to set up a shop on Facebook and Instagram.

However, I would like to see the app offer an option for creating Shopping Campaigns in just a few simple steps.

Additionally, I suggest that the app also includes WhatsApp integration. I’ve been trying to install WhatsApp on my own through Meta Business Manager, but I keep getting error messages. It’s messy and confusing.
