We’ve been using the GiftShip app for some time now and have been impressed by the range of new tools that are consistently added and expanded upon. The team has been incredibly patient and supportive, offering assistance to us less technically inclined people, helping resolve style changes, app conflicts, and ensuring everything runs smoothly with the unique way our site is set up. This has allowed us to get the most out of the service.
The recent addition of the drawer cart, along with compatibility for delayed dispatch dates, gift messages, and split shipping to multiple addresses, has been particularly beneficial for our gifting business. Many other apps fail to adequately support the specific gifting needs of our customers, but GiftShip excels in this area. While most e-commerce tools focus on the straightforward click-and-buy process, GiftShip addresses the more complex requirements of gifting customers throughout their purchasing journey.
Additionally, the app takes into account the fulfilment process from the admin side. When orders are passed through to our shipping portal, all items are listed in the correct order according to the customer’s gift box. This is particularly helpful when customers order multiple gift boxes, as it ensures our fulfilment team can quickly identify which items belong in each box, saving valuable time and preventing errors. Overall, GiftShip has made a significant impact on our efficiency and customer satisfaction.
I have two stores and use Giftship . One store uses different features than the other. However, in both cases, Gifthsip is great. I'm Shop Plus and it's very helpful to use Giftship and I'm not being paid to say this, I sell amazing products not my time for reviews. My experience is always very good with them and their customer support is super helpful.
We've used this product for a couple years for the multi-address ship option and it's been great! We then started using the order printer, simple transition. Recently, we added the Box Builder and it's also working very well. Support has been amazing as we fumbled our way through adding these things ourselves.
Been using Giftship for a number of years. The app is continuously upgraded and always love the new features they add. Super easy to use and very helpful team behind it. Customer service is always a breeze.
With so many features—like shipping to multiple addresses, bundling products, a custom box builder, along with customizable cart and checkout features to name a few, Giftship simplifies so many mechanisms we need to operate our website.
We particularly appreciate the attention to detail and usability, which has improved our customer user flow, and the fast and responsive technical support from the development team at Gist makes navigating the app smooth and easy.
Excellent support! And not just on one occasion but on many, related to making apps work together with themes. Brilliant. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
Be warned: can't use ShopPay if you use this app. If you use this app and enable ShopPay, emails/notifications to customers do not work correctly -- customers get ShopPay notification that their orders have been cancelled (even though neither they nor we have cancelled their order).
It's not true that this app is "fully compatible with ShopPay." We've contacted GiftShip support about this cancellation notification issue, and their response was "This is not something we are able to control, as the Shop App acts independently."
We had to turn off ShopPay as a payment method on our store...which greatly impacts our business as we received over 50% of our orders via ShopPay...and GiftShip knows about this issue but has no plan or ETA to fix it.

GiftShip has been an excellent addition to our website! Their customer service is truly top-notch – they've been incredibly quick to respond to all my emails and always go above and beyond to assist with any questions. The product itself integrates seamlessly and has made managing our gift offerings so much easier. We're also excited to explore their Gift Card Pro app soon. Highly recommend GiftShip to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient gifting solution!
