The support team is very unresponsive. The Multi Currency app was installed yesterday automatically and it's not displaying correctly. The drop-down menu of the currencies is showing on the wrong side of the page (I saved several times where I want it to be displayed) Also, the currencies that I added are not even displaying in the drop-down menu. After I requested help, support needed for me to grant them access to my store, which I did and to email them when I did it. Since then, I haven't gotten any responses and they have not even attempted to correct the issue with their app.

***Update*** Multi Currency has been installed correctly by the support team and it works beautifully

UPDATE: After I posted this review, I was contacted by Bold customer support who wanted to resolve these issues for me. They were extremely helpful and have just finished installing and troubleshooting both this app and Bold Cashier for me. It's a bit of a complex install and I highly recommend getting in touch with them to assist with updating all the settings and answering questions. They were able to update the rounding rules to make them work the way I wanted to, install the liquid assets and update some code to display the currency button where I wanted it when there was a conflict with my theme. They also explained more about the Bold Cashier app, and there is an option to only have it process transactions in the secondary currency, which is what I was hoping for. One of my worries was that all my transactions would now go through Bold Cashier and I'd be billed for transactions made in my default currency.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was excited about trying this app, and although the install was a bit technical, the tutorials to walk you through it are pretty comprehensive. But just when you think you are finished, the last step is to install Bold Cashier, another app that is required if you want the local currency checkout, otherwise this app is just a glorified currency converter. There are fees associated with Bold Cashier, and the app is also not an approved app through the Shopify App Store. I considered installing it anyhow since that functionality is something I don't mind paying for and decided to play around with the rest of the app to see how it works. The rounding rules are next to impossible to get working, and it seemed as though getting them to work was up to chance. When I decided it wasn't for me and uninstalled it, all of the code the app installed stayed and my prices are now showing USD in front of them even though the currency of my shop is CAD. I even made a copy of my theme before fiddling around with the code and tried reverting back to that but still no luck. Uninstall instructions on the Bold site say that the code left behind won't affect anything, but I'm learning the hard way that this isn't the case.

The Bold Apps are all working great, and more importantly, their customer service is BOOMSHAKALAKA GOOD. I have received prompt and in depth help from Jennifer (we know each other so well we have become one person called 'Bennifer'), Regina and Melody. They always go above and beyond to help, and the response time is extremely fast. Sometimes, while chatting, it may seem that they are taking a while to respond to your last message, but it's always because they are checking with the team if they need to answer your question more precisely. The apps function very well, and they offer a plethora of options to improve you store.
