I asked support > they said no we dont have that BUT we will build it for you.

48 hours later its live, pretty unique to have apps actually owning their shit and implementing real value vast.

Really great app, lots of features and multiple ways to promote/upsell. Really fantastic help too, the chatbot does actually have handy links but if you have further issues you can get through to a person. I have done this on multiple occasions and they're very helpful and patient!

OptiMonk has helped simplify collecting leads and making store announcements. I'm able to launch popups on multiple sites from one tool, then test conversion rates with split tests and continually optimize. I also add juice to sales by creating announcement popups, making sure visitors know there's a sale active no matter where they land.

I originally left a positive review and still appreciate that this is a Hungarian team based in Hungary. The product itself has some strong elements.

However, after using it longer, I discovered that bot and crawler scripts are counted as “impressions.” With the current increase in bots, this makes the impression metric essentially meaningless on Shopify, which materially affects how performance is evaluated and how quickly users are charged.

I can no longer use this product as a result. Sadly Shopify nor Optimonk have a good solution to the advances in AI.

Unfortunately, no practical solution or adjustment has been offered to address this issue, which is disappointing and not quite fair given how important accurate attribution is today.

That said, their pop-ups do appear to outperform Klaviyo in terms of engagement and conversion behavior, which is worth noting.

Optimonk is a great tool and can be implemented by everyone. A technical or design background is not required. You are able to capture anonymous traffic when they exit which is a customer file builder. The conversion optimizations are strong and boost results reliably. The software includes effective audience targeting so you can enhance conversions for your paid traffic or elect to offer discounts only to organic traffic, or returning customers. Easy to use and the product is always improving with new features. The support is also top notch which makes a big difference to busy site managers.

Rudolf and the team are absolutely brilliant. They helped straight away to solve an issue i was having. It was my poor understanding of how i set it up and they got what i was wanting to achieve and set everything up then tested it in realtime. The app has helped convert so many customers who came for a browse then bought. 10/10 for customer service. 10/10 for the app
