Bold Discounts ‑ Flash Sales

I installed BOLD Discounts for a planned storewide promotion, but unfortunately the app did not work as expected for my store and I was unable to use the functionality I needed. After spending time trying to get it set up, I ultimately had to uninstall it and use another solution. Disappointing experience, particularly when trying to launch a time-sensitive sale.

I had used this app for a few years, then during Cyber Monday 2025 I changed some sales prices and it changed some and made others a higher discount. I deleted all of the current sales and then even the app entirely, but THE SALES ARE STUCK ON MY PRODUCTS even without the app installed. Tried customer service which was not open. A week later and still no reply from customer service. This app cost me thousands of dollars. DO NOT INSTALL!

After a webinar by the BOLD co-founder, we were excited to give this a try to create value to our long term subscription customers as he suggested as one of the many features this app can do. Only to find out that it really doesn't work the way he stated in the webinar with the app.

BOLD is a great subscription model but that's kind of where it ends as everything else is piece meal adds that are not intuitive and needs further development.

Bold has been extremely useful in creating sales for our business, making it super easy to put your entire store on sale. I wanted to exclude one product and hopped on their AI chat to find out how and when the AI chat couldn't quite help me a real human, Irfan, stepped in and gave me a workaround to complete exactly what I needed. Thank you BOLD and thank you Irfan!!

I'm done with this app. We've been using it for several years now, but this is the end. During our Black Friday sale we set up tiered discounts. Some variants of products were discounted 20%, some were 25%. Unfortunately, this app incorrectly discounted all of our variants 25%. It has worked fine for quite some time until we reached out to support and they told us we had two versions installed on our store. While the extra 5% may not seem like much, it is 10% more than we would typically discount our products due to our margins. We will stick with Shopify's automatic discounts going forward, especially since they finally allow you to choose if coupon stacking is an option or not.

I tried removing the discount I had applied and it hasn't applied it to all my products even though the sync was complete. Tried to reach out to customer support as this needs fixing urgently but I'm out of hours - not good enough for an e-comm store. I have uninstalled the app but it has not fixed my problem.

DO NOT USE THIS APP! Installed today and used the 'straight out of the box' discount creator. It has a very simple system in order to create the discount but when we turned it on, it applied the discount, sitewide TWICE. And it did so by changing the physical price on our shopify products (not just front end displayed price). We are losing hundreds of dollars by the minute and you can't reach any staff at all outside of the standard contact hours - no emergency help. You can't reverse their discounts, they have changed all of our pricing!!

I have thousands of products on my store. A few times a year, we have large discount sales that apply to specific products/collections. Bold Discounts makes this possible with ease.

The only reason that this isn't a 5/5 star for me is that sometimes, when the sale ends, a handful of products still keep their sale price for some reason. It never fails to apply the sale though, which is the important aspect of the app.
