This app has been a watershed for our shop as we try to streamline our custom ordering process. It allows us to capture line item properties, build logic into the product listings and charge extra for options. It does require some integration testing and modification to notifications and invoices to properly show the extra information but the support team at W3 has been super helpful, responsive and have solved all of our issues. We evaluated other solutions first, but we found this to be the best option available for Shopify by far and the price is very reasonable.

Update 11-2-2018: We updated our theme to the latest version and needed some help updating the custom product options. Within 1 hour of contacting the team at W3 Trends, we had everything fixed. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks for being awesome!!

Great company, great support. I've been using this app for a couple of months. I couldn't ask for better support. This company immediately identified a problem I was having, assisted me in getting it resolved. I highly recommend this company if you have products that need a lot of options to configure.

Not only has this app allowed me to make reasonably complicated product options easy to implement, the staff are top notch and customer support is amazing. If you are thinking of trying out this app, just do it. Value for money is second to none. I've never left a review on any app, on any platform, but I was so impressed with their customer support on making changes to my store with no coding knowledge at all that I felt that it was well deserved. Shoutout to Jason as well for his fantastic customer service.

So far the best product options app I've used/tried. And I've tried A LOT! They did a great job at making sure to add all the little awesome details you need to make your online store work seamlessly.
I would 100% recommend this (and will) to anyone.
I also LOVE the fact that I can call them on the phone if need be for help. That is so rare now a days. It's SUPER helpful!

This app helped me create a "Skateboard Builder" where customers can use drop downs to select the skateboard color and designs, while changing them in real time. I haven't been able to find another app that has these capabilities. While there are occasionally a few bugs you have to look the other way on for now, it still works great. Their knowledge base is lacking, however the support email (Specifically, Megan who helped me) has been super quick to respond and help me out with my numerous questions. Very good app! It had exactly what i was needing, had a few bumps in the beginning but the support team sorted it out under 24 hours. I would recommend this app to any one who needs product option customization.

Tired of using Bold Options? So were we. Do yourself a favor and just make the switch. If you were able to figure out how to make Bold do what you want then using this app is going to absolutely floor you with how easy and logical everything is. The integration was a 1 button process. The documentation for this app is absolutely phenomenal, and we were able to make all but two customizations to our site by ourselves without needing programming knowledge. For the remaining two customizations (changing selection border color and altering the functionality of one of the widgets) we opened a support ticket with W3 and they answered both of our questions in plain English, provided copy-paste snippets that solved our problems, and did so within literally minutes of opening for business. We later had an issue that turned out to be a Shopify problem, not a W3 problem, and they were just as professional and eager to help. The only downside to this app is that the customer can't edit options in cart. They told me it's a feature they'd like to see added to the app, but more groundwork would need to be done before such a thing could happen. The drawback is outweighed a hundred times over by the benefits, and my customers are literally reaching out to us with praise over how much better the ordering process is. Thanks W3! Update 10/10/22
We've had to reach out a few times since the initial review to ask how to customize something here and there. Support is always fast, always helpful, very easy to understand. As of now I still recommend them without hesitation!

Exactly what I needed! Megan was helpful and responsive. I needed a little a little change here and there and Megan took care of it. So happy with the result. Update: Extremely satisfied. Upgraded to the 2.0 theme. It was a great time to try 2 other popular product option apps just to make sure I wasn't missing out, only to come back to this one. This one checks all the boxes. Easy to use interface for setting options and conditional logic, an output that will be easily understood by my customers. I opted to pay for customization so that it would show the base cost and itemized option costs and subtotal in a way that fit with my minimalist theme. Within 2 days, Gabby and Jason helped me install and code it to display exactly what I needed. The final result was worth the back and forth.
