I sell bedding which has to be one of the most PITA things to sell on line because every size option changes the price. Then we have options...for our options.

With that, the ONLY app I found that could do what we needed it to do was the Product Options app by BOLD. And holy smokes does it work.

In just over three days I had a few thousand SKU's inputted with conditional logic so somethings showed and some wouldn't based on what a client chose. It's just brilliant and looks amazing on the site.

And the Support. THE FREAKING SUPPORT! Amazing. So quick. I think the longest I have ever had to wait was...maybe...a minute. Alexa. Melody. And Tamer. All my favourites. They've even gone in the back end to tweak things quickly for me that needed tweaking. So helpful. So friendly.

I've read some of the one star reveiws on this list and have to say if you're getting one star service from these guys it's probably because you are a 100 Star PITA. It's physically impossible to have one star service from Canadians. It's just not in their DNA. I would give the team at Bold Apps a 6 Star Review if I could, they've just been THAT good.

Can't recommend them enough.

Good but not quite there. My goal is to create a product page with a tight set of menu options that can be expanded when chosen. Conditional logic works great for this but I would like more controls. For instance, the product description takes up a great deal of page space. I would like to see a description narrative that could be read and then collapsed. I have seen this on other sites where there is a "pull-down" widget that allows you to group text and options for selection when expanded and then collapse when done. The options are excellent but it can be improved by allowing grouping features such as accordions to better organize the options. This improves usability and avoids cluttering the page especially when the number of options are large

This app handled my complicated product variations & options perfectly (I had tried a couple other apps before that didn't work out). Alina went above and beyond to provide quick customer service and get everything taken care of for me. Thoroughly impressed.

Great product, very easy to use and they have a very very responsive support team. Just write them where you’re stuck and they’ll sort it out in the background.

First the app. The app is not simple to install, thank god we have a web developer who did it for us. Alternatively, you can pay BOLD money to do it for you, which seems shady; make an app, but make it very difficult for a normal user to install, and then charge more money.

The app itself is fairly simple to use and do the job of what we need it to. However, the options will not show to your clients if their browser does not have Java enabled. Fun little fact, many mobile clients don't have Java. So you're basically losing out on tons of potential customers. Also, if you are trying to generate reports and exporting your orders via .csv files (excel), your options will not be there.

Now BOLD as a company and their support are absolutely atrocious. Multiple times, over the last 3 1/2 months of using this app, we have attempted to contact their support team. They advertise 9-5 M-F. We always call within those hours and it always goes to their voicemail. We leave messages and they have never called us back. When talking about a support ticket, they will email us instead, which doesn't work for us. Often times the advice or "fix" they give is incorrect and doesn't work, which is frustrating with the massive gaps in communication time.

I would give the app a 3 because it does what it is suppose to, despite having some flaws and I would give bold a 0-1 because they have horrible customer service.

You guys just nail everything! Whenever we hit a road block, you've been there. We don't code - but we have an amazing site and have spent very little time managing the back end. I mean if you guys knew how to photograph our products and what are prices were, I wouldn't have to do anything. :)

Product Options was stumbling with some of our unique code, but your guys went above and beyond, and made it work by fixing our code...too cool.

Have been using the app for a few months. Don't expect the inventory tracking to work. It has been nothing but issues for us regarding inventory tracking. Multiple hours wasted and calls later they basically just said tough luck. They told us to go complain to our other third party apps to convince them to integrate with bold apps, great advice. Also, it doesn't integrate with shipstation or stitch labs so definitely don't use it if you have either of those. Lastly, less important but still notable is that is causes some small changes to the visual appearance of the site and often will look sloppy with the way the options appear on website and in confirmation emails to customers. I would save your money and get a more legit options feature coded into your site. It will take more money up front but in the end this isn't a long term solution if you are looking to make serious money online. If you are running a fairly simple site it could work but eventually the problems are all magnified and you will have to get something better anyway so may as well not waste the monthly payments and hours getting it set up
