Rahul was incredibly helpful in making sure our Shopify sync was set up correctly and that our contacts migrated smoothly from Klaviyo. I received excellent support from Raul. I had originally set up Pushowl earlier this year and was looking to upgrade our account so we could manage email marketing as well. He assisted in making sure our Brevo account was fully integrated with Pushowl which allows us to manage all our communications via Pushowl.

We use Brevo for our email marketing backend. This app makes it very easy to connect your shopify store, if you use Brevo, too. If you use something else, then I am not sure how good this will work for you.

I didn't use it for the opt-in or push. I just wanted a simple way to bring the data from Shopify. Rahul, from the PushOwl team, was very helpful in getting my store connected.

They offer a lot of features that I haven't explored. The pop-up wheel spinner is the first one I will look at, as I have another one now and if this integrates better, I may switch it.

Like anything else, your mileage will vary. For what I needed, and the support they gave me (and seem like will continue to give in the future) I rate them a solid 5-stars.

SMS stopped working exactly when I needed them most — during the most important time of the year — even though I had purchased credit in advance.

To make things worse, the first response from their customer service team was: “Oh, they are working,” when it was obvious they hadn’t checked the past 7 days. The backend failed at the worst possible moment, and the support agent (Harish) completely overlooked the issue. I had to insist multiple times just to get an escalation.

A failure from start to finish. Truly unacceptable for a critical period.

Staff memebrs are very helpfull, shout out to Yash who helped me today, as a start up myself sometimes it is difficult to find the right email platform as I don't have a huge base to start from, but Yash helped me find the best solution today for my bussiness needs and I am very excited to try the new plan :) Also the AI chat bot is very helpful, but I got conected with Yash in under 2 min which was fantastic. Anjali Customer service was excellent. The app is functional and well thought out. Main issue is the deliverable emails that goes to spam.

Do not switch to BREVO SMS, if you come from Yotpo like I did, it's a big scam, they give you a lot of credits, and you believe you are paying top price for SMS while in reality you don't, i made a terrible mistake of moving and paying a yearly upfront price. Plus they are making it super difficult to see what you spend and what was the ROAS associated with it.

Had the absolute pleasure of speaking to Raul from the support team!

I found out that our setup between Shopify, PushOwl, and lastly Brevo was not setup correctly. As such, seeing that we have quite a sensitive Brevo setup, I was nervous about making big changes and potentially making a mess for our thousand of Email receivers.

Luckily, I was put in contact with Raul, who responded as if we were in a direct message chat, and clearly explained how he would connect PushOwl to Brevo. Everything was seemless, and he was very patient with me, despite my multiple mentions of how the new connection could not mess up the existing Brevo setup.

And with a couple of mails back and forth, I was up and running, now with a perfect synchronisation between Shopify, PushOwl, and Brevo.

Thank you to Raul! If I every have any trouble again, I know that there is amazing help to find.

This is app is frustrating to use, not intuitive. I came from Omnisend before and found it to be way easier to use.
A few issues just today:
-Slow response time in chat right before Black Friday. I have questions before launching my campaign on Black Friday and have not received a response for many hours. Most other Shopify apps I use have international support who can respond in minutes. There also isn't AI auto responder in chat to answer questions or refer to relevant help pages. They just put you on hold for hours.
-No easy way to convert customers to email subscribers in bulk. I thought this would be a given. I select multiple contacts and there is no obvious way to convert them to email campaign subscribers. I can only add them to lists or segments. I also made a segment a few months ago and when I try to look at it, it is now a dead link (goes to error page) so I can't even access a list from 6 months ago.
-In designer there is no way to have a multicolumn grid with synced products from my store. You can add a product block which allows you to sync only one product per row. If you want to have multicolumn you have to manually build image/text multicolumn by uploading your own images and filling in text, then linking to each product by pasting URLs. There should be an easy way to sync products automatically with a multicolumn product template.

In conclusion, I am a computer savvy person and have had a Shopify store for 5 years. This app should be way simpler to use. I would recommend that Brevo take a look at these issues. Although more expensive, I found Omnisend to be very simple. I only switched because I don't send email campaign often enough to justify the monthly cost. If Brevo can not help with these issues I will be forced to cancel.
