Having a direct line to customers is essential. As a customer, I hate not being able to speak with a human being and being shunted around FAQs. So I really like being able to directly interact with customers with Shopify.
I don't like the automatic replies and consider this function unnecessary. However, we don't have to use this function and I guess for some people it's useful.
Altogether, Shopify is a great package. Brilliant, in fact. I struggled before with various solutions, but Shopify is the best. By a large margin.
