So far so good, we have never used a stock management system before so we have been implementing stocky. Works great for us, allows us to enter our purchase orders in very easily and link to our suppliers. When containers have arrived we have marked as received and the stock has updated perfectly on Shopify. I see lots of negative reviews for this app but so far we have not experienced any issues.
HELP. I have never used it for years because I can't even get it to link and set up. And regular Shopify Help has me on hold forever and has no idea.
It won't see/find Dymo printer at all. Nothing. I need to give it permissions .. and there is no button to NOW allow Permission. Just sends you to INFO about permissions. And Shopify doesn't save the label you use in DYMO anywhere you can find it on your PC. Can someone help me set up Stocky. It should be easier than this. Please and thank you. Otherwise Stocky is of no use to us still.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback and review. Due to changes with how DYMO’s software functions, only DYMO printers that use the DYMO Label Software are able to integrate with Stocky at this time. This includes the DYMO LabelWriter 450, DYMO LabelWriter Wireless, and DYMO LabelWriter 4XL printers.
If you are using the DYMO Label Software and compatible printer, you can generate a label template as described on our Shopify Help Center via the link below, and then upload it directly to the Stocky under the Preferences > DYMO section of the Stocky app. This would allow you to print labels directly from the Stocky app using your DYMO printer.
DYMO Label Printing using Stocky: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/sell-in-person/shopify-pos/inventory-management/stocky/inventory-management/dymo-printing
If you do not have a compatible printer, you may consider using another app for barcode label printing, such as our free Retail Barcode Labels app which allow you to print directly from the Admin with a much wider range of printers.
If you require further assistance, you can reach our 24/7 Shopify Support team who would be happy to assist you with further Stocky or label printer questions through our Shopify Help Center by visiting help.shopify.com.
Why does every update lower the functionality of the app??
- You now have to click edit on every PO to make updates (change it back!)
- The new colour scheme does not let you easily differentiate between orders pending and received (change it back!)
- When importing goods, sometimes you do not know the total landed costs until after all the import duties and taxes are paid. Stocky LOCKS the landed costs once goods are received.
We need to be able to update shipping costs post order - to accurately see the Landed Costs (Please fix this as it is the most crucial part)

In reply to the comment "you can click the Edit button on the top of a received purchase order to open up the option to adjust the shipping rates as needed." - the figures such as the margin and landed costs remain locked if you have already received the items, so this is not an acceptable solution.
Please can you contact me directly to discuss improvements.
Hello Cyril, thank you for taking the time to submit this feedback. Our developers work to ensure that we are providing the best service possible and all feedback is valuable to us, so I would be more than happy to pass the concerns you have noted along to them on your behalf.
I can confirm that the option to edit shipping costs after an order is received would be possible at the moment, you can click the Edit button on the top of a received purchase order to open up the option to adjust the shipping rates as needed.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Shopify Help Center at help.shopify.com and our 24/7 support team would be happy to assist.
I almost didn't install this app due to the overall rating but it is actually brilliant and should be a 5/5. It is the only cost effective app on the market that not only directly links to the Shopify 'cost price' but adjusts that cost price according to the different buy prices across multiple PO's. You do not need a POS retail location to use this app for ecommerce only, there is no better app to manage cost prices in Shopify if you buy stock at different prices. Just brilliant.
As others mentioned: Stocky is getting worse with every update.
Unfortunately, in the last "update" they removed the functionality "receive without syncing". As our logistics work separately from our management, Stocky is basically unusable without this feature. We can't mark orders as delivered without totally blowing up our Stocktakes in Shopify. Without being able to remove our delivered purchase orders, most of the reports are filled with wrong data too.
Good job, Stocky team
Thank you so much for taking the time to submit your review and feedback. We understand it's important to be able to receive your purchase orders while completing a stocktake, so I've passed on your feedback to our developers. If you've decided that Stocky is not the right app for your store, you can take a look at some third-party inventory apps here: https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=inventory%20management
One star, and wish it could be zero. Not efficent, lots of glitches, never any meaningful improvements. Like everything related to Shopify POS, it is overpriced, and underperforms. No customer service--every man for himself. Heed my warning, and AVOID.
Thanks for taking the time to submit your feedback. We certainly understand the need for Stocky to be an efficient app to effectively manage your store inventory. Our developers are actively working to improve the app, so your feedback is valued here. You can also contact our support team at help.shopify.com to assist you with any immediate issues, we're always here to help!
New update where you have to click edit every time to change anything on the PO is not helpful. I also do not like when you enter a new product into Shopfiy, the cost of the new product does not automatically transfer over.
Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, we truly appreciate it. As I can completely understand the impact of this change, I've gone ahead and shared your feedback with our developers. We are however, always working to improve platform and appreciate you sharing those points. - Blair, Shopify Support
When doing a transfer in stocky, Please show origin and Destination quantities to make it easier for us to check and tranfer
Completely exhausted with this app.
Although uninstalled, it still ads stock quantities under product "Incoming" and messes with our inventory and stock count.
I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling and have a set of tech guys to remove app intervention, with no luck.
It's like Hotel California, you can get in anytime you want, but you can never leave.
Hi there! Thank you for sharing this feedback! You would usually seem stock listed under 'Incoming' when there is inventory that’s on its way to your location(s) from stock transfers or purchase orders that haven't been marked as received within Stocky, or if inventory movements are being made with another app. Uninstalling the Stocky app would remove local data, but wouldn't resolve the issue if there are still outstanding stock movements which weren't completed. Please feel free to contact our support team anytime via the Shopify Help Center for assistance: https://shopify.link/vRnL so we can get work on getting that resolved for you!
Wish there was options when running a suggested po. Like date of last order or last sold. So we can filter out products that haven't been order in certain time frame
