Swym has been very helpful in getting our shop set up with their wishlist and back in stock alert features. The apps function well, look great, and many of our customers rely on these features to buy product that sells quickly upon release.
The customer support is excellent. Whenever there is an issue, they are responsive and communicative while troubleshooting and resolving the issue. We've also worked with them to get some customized features on our site to accommodate our more complicated product line and they've been efficient, professional, and pleasant to work with each time.
Our development team contacted Swym Wishlist Plus support with a functionality issue on one of our Shopify sites that uses the app and they quickly responding and helped us solve the issue.
We have been using the app for over one year and I recommend it.
An issue with how products were pulling in was identified and flagged, and due to a promotion launching for us, Swym worked on it as a priority and got the issue resolved within 24 hours vs. the usual SLA.
They have been very hands on in responding to the questons about what happened and moved the fix onto multiple themes for us to future proof the issue also.
I had a very disappointing experience with this app. During development of my Shopify store, the app was somehow recording hundreds of wishlist actions even though my developers and I weren't actually clicking the wishlist button. When I contacted support, they explained this was due to a "Smart Save" feature that had been enabled automatically without my knowledge, which could add products to wishlists based on shopper interactions rather than an explicit click.
Because of this, my free plan limit of 500 wishlist actions was exhausted before my store had even launched, forcing me onto a paid plan simply to keep the wishlist functionality available. I only discovered what had happened after the app disabled the wishlist because I hadn't upgraded.
The frustrating part is that once my store was live, the analytics showed customers rarely used the wishlist feature. The automatic "Smart Save" behaviour had artificially inflated my usage (without my knowledge until I sought an explanation as to how I could have possibly exceeded the 500 uses pre-launch), meaning I ended up paying for a plan I likely never needed. When I later asked to move back to the free plan, I was told that was no longer possible.
I found it very disappointing that a feature capable of consuming the free plan allowance was enabled without my knowledge. Had it been opt-in rather than enabled by default, none of this would have happened. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this app.
Customers are complaining they cannot delete products from their wishlists which ends in creating multiple lists.
Excellent app with outstanding support.
We use Wishlist Plus on our Shopify store, and it has been a great addition to our customer experience. The Wishlist feature works well and gives shoppers an easy way to save products they are interested in.
What really impressed us was the support team. We had an issue where some product images were not showing correctly in the Wishlist notification, and the Swym team handled it quickly, professionally, and with clear communication. They resolved the issue properly and followed up afterward.
Their service was genuinely excellent, and it gave us a lot of confidence in using the app long term.
Highly recommended for any Shopify store looking for a reliable Wishlist solution with a helpful support team behind it.

At first, the customization is very limited for this app, so you won't get all the elements to truly match your store's style. But, if you are willing to send CS tickets, they can steadily implement changes for you that go beyond what is initially available.
Love this product! And wonderful support - knowledgeable and thorough. Help me set it up in our theme and customized code as needd. A little slow to respond, but I prefer accurate support instead of quick, inaccurate answers.
Honestly this application is pure rubbish as well as the support provided. The wishlist button lags behind a good couple of seconds which looks terrible in a store and I have been exchanging mails for the past two weeks to hardcode the button to go around the issue. The instructions are not clear and not even with help of AI we were able to make it work properly. Feature like the auto saving come enabled by default so that the "likes" are consumed fast so that you need to purchase a higher tier. All put together a bad experience and a waste of time.

Our app works seamlessly with most Shopify themes out of the box, however for certain themes, small adjustments are needed to ensure the button integrates well, which was the case here. Our team has since made those changes and the button should now work as expected.

Regarding the Smart Save feature, this is designed to help capture high-intent shoppers and is not intended to consume credits unfairly. It can absolutely be turned off, and we're working on making that clearer upfront for all our merchants.
