We loved using the "forever free" plan for Yotpo for the past year. Turns out "forever" didn't last too long. What a lie. I just got an email saying they are getting rid of our free plan and will switch us to their "new" forever free plan which eliminates almost all the functionality of our current plan. If we want to keep the functionality we currently have, we will have to pay $500 per month. That's more than 2x as much as our entire shopify plan. I'd be willing to pay something, but this is ludicrous. Yotpo's pan is to get you hooked then screw you.

I am on the free app for now and testing between Yotpo and Judge.Me. Both are good but I find the ease of using Yotpo is better. I was working on setting up the Star Rating and Gimbert was very helpful in solving it for me. Excellent support and great patience in answering my questions. I recommend the app and the support.

The app is good at what it's supposed to do, but I ran into quite a few bumps when installing it but the customer service chat was really helpful in figuring out my issues and finally I can breathe a sigh of relief that it's working correctly on our site. Two of their support assistants, Junalou and Kate, were super helpful and were able to solve all my problems and support while I added and removed a bunch of backend code that made no sense to me. Yay for it finally working
