We love this app! The only thing we wish we could change is using it as a coming soon option also and change the wording to say Coming Soon instead of Sold Out. Other than that this app is perfect and has done a great job for us!!

Back in Stock can be used in a "coming soon" or a "sold out", but sounds like you want the ability to do this at the product level. Duly noted! Your feedback helps us make our app better :)
This is a great app to keep track of what customers want to see restocked and be able to quickly convert restocked products into sales.
I used the App for back in stock notifications. The App it's intuitive and great. But it's not obvious that it's very important to set a minimum quantity of products to trigger the notifications. It should come with a bigger number by default or have an automatic pair, like 1 product x 1 client minimum.
This app is EVERYTHING! If you want to build momentum and gain more sales install this app! My new line already has a waitlist bigger than my inventory!
And Matt is beyond helpful customizing everything for my shop!

It's easy to get the basics of what we need but some additional analytics, for example, would be great. Perhaps if the app was directly linked to Shopify as well. Currently, it doesn't look like the BIS app will show as purchased unless purchased through the BIS trigger email and, I couldn't find a way to manually send a notification to, say, one customer, if needed. Customer service has been great!

In regards to how the app calculates conversions; customers would need to click the "Buy Now" link in the notification email. By doing this, a special tracking link is generated, which takes the customer to the checkout page and sends the data back to the app once the checkout is completed.
This is our current process, but I'm going to go ahead and submit your feedback as a feature request for the team to look into.

So easy to set up and use. This is a life saver and no brainer! Makes managing and forecasting inventory so much easier.
We have found great success with the Back In Stock app. Previously we had to manually notify clients of items back in stock through a general email to our entire client base. This app allows clients to sign up for product specific notifications when a product goes out of stock. When we update our stock, the clients that requested notification were promptly emailed with a follow up email 2 days later! The orders started coming in and we could not be more pleased with the ease of the app. To top it off, we had a question for customer service and reached out through the app dashboard. We received a prompt response from a knowledgeable customer service member with easy to understand instructions. The customer service member was available for follow up questions and followed us through the update until they were sure we got the end result we were after. I highly recommend this app!
I'm using this app at the moment and it's really great. So much ease being able to just leave it to back in stock to alert the customers when items are returned and then available for new customers, and it means more revenue as people really did want to get those products.
Support has been great and the product works just as advertised!
I am generally very happy with how this app works, the only thing I can think of as a problem is that it does not show the "Email me .. " box when you look at a product in "Quick View"
