CJ Dropshipping Held My Orders for 18 Days
Has anyone else had a terrible experience with CJ Dropshipping?
Because honestly, I don’t understand how this company is still operating like this. They have held my products for 18 days without properly shipping them, without clear answers, and without taking any real responsibility.
Every time you try to get help, they either don’t reply properly, delay the answer, or give some vague excuse that doesn’t solve anything. Meanwhile, customers are waiting, businesses are losing money, and sellers are the ones getting blamed.
Their service is honestly terrible. No urgency. No accountability. No proper communication. Just delays after delays.
And when I look at their Trustpilot, I genuinely question how many of those positive reviews are even real, because the service I have experienced is nothing like what those reviews claim. If so many sellers are having issues, why does their public review profile look so polished?
At this point, I would not recommend CJ Dropshipping to anyone. They can hold your orders for days or weeks, ignore the damage it causes, and leave you to deal with angry customers alone.
People should seriously consider using DSers or finding suppliers directly instead of relying on CJ Dropshipping.

The inventory shows it being in the US, and then I confirmed it. I ran ads based on that info, but when the sales came in, I tried to order it, but they removed it. I had to refund the money and kill all the assets I worked for.

I'd say this is one of the best suppliers. Yes, its costy and it wont be for everyone because of that which is totally valid, but for me the higher cost for high quality costumer service, overall service, quality control, and top notch suppliers is a fair trade off. Box Chen is a great example of superb customer service, and he has tended to me on several occasions very well.

I like CJ as a platform, but using it was honestly one of the most stressful experiences ever once we started getting multiple orders coming in.
I don’t even know where to start.
First, I preordered our branded packaging. I only ordered 10 pieces at the beginning just to test CJ for the first couple of weeks. We waited approximately two weeks just for a simple carton glasses box to be shipped into their warehouse and added to my inventory. Before it arrived, I kept asking for updates, but nobody really knew the estimated completion time, and some agents even seemed annoyed when I followed up.
Then came the first week where we started running ads and getting sales. That’s when the real test started.
We had packages that were ordered after a month and 10 days still getting delayed. CJ claimed the customers didn’t respond, but instead of contacting me first, they shipped the packages back to another logistics warehouse, which took over a week. After that, I had to manually contact them again just to check what was happening, which slowed the whole process even more.
One of the worst situations was when a customer placed a bulk order that was costly. Because of the delays, I had to keep replying to him multiple times with updates, and it honestly became embarrassing. In the end, the order was refunded because I did not want to keep making the customer wait and make the brand look even worse. I lost a lot of money because of that situation. To be fair, CJ did refund me from the dispute, which I appreciate, but the damage was already done because it made our brand look unprofessional in front of the customer.
The delays with CJ are absolutely insane.
We also had many cases where packages were delivered with wrong items or missing items. The warehouse packing process felt careless. It really seemed like the packer did not take the time to check what should be inside the package or how it should be packed, even though notes were sent by the agents.
Overall, it was an absolute disaster for branded fulfillment. I personally would never work with CJ again for branded dropshipping.
Only use CJ if you are not doing branded dropshipping or if your fulfillment process is very simple.
