Holding merchant reviews hostage unless you pay more! DO NOT install this app. Even while actively paying a monthly subscription fee, Fera completely hid my front-end review widgets from my storefront because an outgoing email quota was reached. A review app should only stop sending automated emails when hitting a limit; it should never silently disable basic display functionality that merchants pay for. Support refused to restore my store's widgets unless I upgraded to a higher tier, leaving my review pages broken for months while continuing to charge my card. This predatory practice destroyed my store's social proof and cost me significant sales.

We’re sorry for the frustration this caused. We did display notifications about the usage limit, but we understand they weren’t clear enough.
We’ve also refunded the four months in question as a goodwill gesture and are reviewing how we communicate these limits to make sure this is clearer going forward.
Plus, our support team has also exported your reviews, so we aren't holding the reviews hostage.

Really happy with Fera so far. It was easy to set up, looks great on our Shopify store, and makes collecting customer reviews simple.
The photo review feature is a nice touch and everything has worked reliably. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a review app.

Excellent customer support! Holden went above and beyond to help me transfer my reviews from my previous store to Shopify. He was responsive, professional, and made the entire process incredibly easy. He even provided a backup CSV file and ensured everything was working correctly. Fera has been a great addition to my Shopify store. Any issue I have had I have either chatted or emailed with them and they answer right away - yes with real people. They immediately attended to the technical issues I had and fixed everything up very quickly. It is a user friendly app and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

A bit pricey but it's a very high quality service

This app is constantly crashing. Users are merging between projects, creating potentially serious issues. Reviews on websites are often offline. These problems have been occurring for years, and the staff never fixes them. We are in the process of uninstalling it from all our stores.

I just installed Fera on my Shopify store and I am pleased to say its more than impressive. It was so easy and automated to import reviews. did not require me to manually edit json and csv files. Support was prompt and they helped me get the widgets installed and my website looking so much better.
