This is an updated review. I had some trouble setting up this app and was really frustrated with all the errors received on my Google Ads account. Have been going back and forth with email support and then finally Brad came to the rescue, fixed all the issues, and answered all my questions. It's simple - if you want your tagging done right, go with Elevar! They definitely know what they're doing and from our experience there is no one better in the market. Plus the support is simply amazing - thank you Mario! We're on the Advanced Plan and it is worth every penny :)

We recently started using Elevar's datalayer tracking on our store & immediately saw the results & impact of having cleaner data. Update 12/29/23:
We just realized that the Data Layer is not at all compatible with Archetype themes (out of stock) and requires a lot of work to make it compatible.
For example, all of those events were not tracked for the past 12 months since we didn't realise it and Elevar did not notify us:

Mario (and the whole support team) is a rockstar always helpful and would go the extra mile for you. It isn't the simplest thing to set up but we did alright and it works like a charm.

Ultimately I think if you are going to do it then go all the way and get Server-side tagging. It also appears that Shopify Plus would provide maximum value. I'm currently on client side tagging and non-Plus Shopify. The app did save me tons of hours of testing and coding to pull in data.
