We've been using this for a few months now. This has been effective at engaging customers and answering questions. We've had at least 30 conversations (a meaningful number for our store), and the app has worked well.

It does what it's designed to do. I wish there was a link to the page my customer is contacting me on. It just gives me the page title which can be hard to find sometimes and not very efficient for a fast response time. You have to always have the Inbox tab open to get desktop notifications for open conversations. Other than that, it works fine just had some design suggestions.

I'm happy to let you know that I've gone ahead and passed that request along to our Product Team for their considerationally. In regards to notifications, you can consider downloading the Shopify Ping web app to your store from your appropriate, official webstore and you should be able to receive notifications through that application, and not just through the open Inbox Tab of your browser.
