This app is horrible! I only wanted to add a Messenger chat on my store, something that I used to do throught the Facebook App, but now my customers can't interact with their own messenger account, neither continue as anom, they have to give their emil and all that stuff that is so annoying and we can't follow the conversation on Facebook or Messenger.
Thank you for writing your review and I'm sorry to hear that you've had issues using the Shopify Inbox app. I can appreciate that while having the customer enter in their contact details is an extra step for them, this does allow you to reach back out to them if they have left the online store before you are able to respond. Shopify does also allow you to connect your Messenger account to Inbox, meaning you can use this as your preferred messaging service when speaking with customers. I installed this app, invested time in tweaking and testing it, added the phone app to be always responsive.
No action on the app for since testing. Now I look at my backend and the app is not even there! What's with that?!
I like the idea of what it offered, but it didn't come up with the goods :-(
Super easy to set up and like the follow up emails. The custom messages (quick replies & instant answers) are great as we have a very niche business. It would be nice to see our visitors in real-time via Shopify Inbox (our previous chat app had this feature). Also, any way you can add a document upload? Currently, you only offer an image

The inbox is a really easy to use on our Shopify store. I would give 5 stars but there is no email address to use to connect the inbox to the "contact us" and the doesn't seem to be a feature to integrate Meta messengers directly to Inbox even though I've seen this in online videos for Shopify Inbox.
Sehr gute App. Man kann einfach und schnell mit den Kunden kommunizieren. Die Einrichtung war kinderleicht. Den Support habe ich einmal angeschrieben und mir wurde umgehend geantwortet. Den 5 Stern bekommt ihr, wenn man den Chat zu bestimmten Zeiten abstellen könnte.
Easy to use. I've made several tests pretending to be a customer, and it worked well. Had some troubles installing on my phone, ended with an app called PING - quite confusing. But now I receive all the customer messages, from Facebook Messanger and Shopify Chat, in one place.

Yes, Shopify Ping which is free to use, is required to use Shopify Chat. It's like a big inbox on your phone, as you have figured out. Thank you for trying the app and hoping it leads to more sales for you!

So far, I have found it helpful. Unfortunately the first few days it didn't load so now that it has I have apologized to those customers. I can already see how answering questions promptly will assist our sales. Many of those writing to us have items in their cart already and just need a bit more assistance.
