Loox ‑ Product Reviews App

Rina was incredibly helpful and solved an issue I had been struggling with for a long time. The Loox review widget was visible in the Shopify editor but not on the live page, and after I had already tried creating several pages from scratch, she quickly identified that the problem was related to the Content Security Policy.

She explained the issue clearly, disabled the CSP for my store, and confirmed that the widget was working correctly. She was patient, professional, friendly, and very efficient throughout the entire conversation.

Great app and even better support! I had an issue with the Reviews Widget not showing on my store because my custom domain wasn't recognized in the backend. Liz from the support team was quick, professional, and resolved it within minutes by resyncing my widget cache. Really appreciate the fast and effective help — highly recommend Loox!

This app has great designs but the pricing model is way too expensive. If you sell a lot of lower price items it may not be worth it.

From driving search/AI query traffic, to managing our referral reward program, plus doing all the normal things a review app needs to do, I'm super happy with Loox. I've used x4 other Review Apps over the past 10 years, including Yotpo, and most did about half the job Loox is now doing for us. Our reviews have doubled, guessing due to the clean email templates. Not sure why, but I'm thrilled Verified reviews have always been the best way for us to build trust with new shoppers. The photo and video reviews do a great job showing the parents and school administrators that shop our store what our tools look like in action, and that's gold. This is the best money I've spent on an app to date. Reviews = trust = conversions.

As a Shopify store owner who has used Loox for a couple of years now, I have to say it’s been an absolute game-changer for my business, though it definitely comes with some caveats.
On the positive side, Loox has been essential for building trust with my customers. The visual aspect of the app is its biggest strength. Shoppers love seeing real photos of how products actually look, and it has noticeably helped my conversion rates. I also have to give a massive shoutout to their customer support. Whenever I’ve run into technical issues or needed help tweaking the display to match my theme, their team has been incredibly fast, professional, and patient. It’s rare to find that level of dedication from a software company, and it makes a huge difference.

5/5 stars for customer service — thank you so much to Ken S, Izza P, and Rain M for all their help! The user settings could definitely be improved (i.e. being able to change the review and star color schemes and settings per each page, or being able to change the widget color schemes per each page/widget), but the app is fantastic for collecting reviews from customers.

This app is truly amazing and keeps getting better and better. We now use it across all of our e-commerce brands. It's well thought of and covers most of the common use-cases you will run into as an e-commerce operator. Most importantly, on the rare occasions when I needed support, the response time was almost immediate. Jen C is always here to make things super smooth for us on the support side. Professional and super efficient service!

I'd give zero stars if I could. The "write your review" box did not show at all on mobile. I reached out to support for help and was met with the agent telling me how it does work and I am not refreshing/clearing my cache (which I did several times). She took an extremely long time to respond and couldn't figure it out after almost one hour. Once I complained that it is still not showing for the 4th or 5th time she finally decides to "escalate" the issue. I told her to forget it and I'll just uninstall this app and find a new one that is more user friendly. Loox support is terrible and doesn't know how to solve what seems to be simple issues. I do NOT recommend anyone download this app. Your customers should not have to message you asking how to leave reviews, that isn't a good look for my website and its frustrating. Please look elsewhere.

Excellent app for social proof, undoubtedly one of the best on the market.
