Fantastic!

We were looking to customise the product options and shopify allowed only 3 linear choices....then we discovered the app!

This app did a nice job of adding options but it has slowed down my site loading considerably. When I run a Google Page Speed test, this is the biggest culprit as far as slowing my page down.

Page speed is one of the biggest factors in getting to the top of Google search rankings so this is an issue.

Umm, first off - we switched over to Shopify from Big Cartel. So much more robust. As we were doing our research on where to migrate - we saw Shopify utilizes the SKU method, which like in our case - if you have a lot of production options and variety - you're SOL when it comes to purchasing/testing a starter Shopify Plan.

So this app is golden (not sure why Shopify let's them do this! I am not complaing though).

So the product itself gets 5 stars. Wish there were more stars to give because the support is insanely awesome. The guy pretty much coded this badboy into our system and even modified it for us to make it look pretty.

You can tell they care and stand by their products. Their products are similar to what big companies feed to the public. Their support is similar to a small start up company- hungry to make an impact the right way.

For selling services and other things needing a lot of customization, this is perfect. And time is money, right? being able to QUICKLY add a lot of options to products is invaluable. Great app.

Generally as advertised and the support was quite good. Certainly a useful app for many reasons...but unfortunately we can't give this a great review overall.

-The app costs money to install, which isn't the case with several of the alternatives.
-The app was more tedious and cumbersome to use than the app we ended up going with.
-More expensive per month than the app we ended up using, particularly if you need the "premium" features.
-Not as versatile at modifying prices as the app we ended up using.
-Charges extra for features that are included as standard with some other apps.
-Bold repeatedly asks people to write 5-star reviews, which gets a bit annoying.

We fiddled around with this app for a while and ultimately ended up going with Unlimited Product Options by OnlyGrowth.

Never, ever depend on this app. With the prices charged, I expect support at least during normal business hours. Often during these hours, telephone support is not available. When someone answers, they are personally incapable of helping . They tell you they will open a ticket. Days will go by.

I've had a ticket open since Nov 7th. Today is Nov 22. I've had several responses to this ticket that apologized for them dropping the ball and it would be escalated to level 2 support and taken care of.

I'm still here with an open ticket on Nov 22. Today I sat here with the chat window open waiting on my issue to be fixed. Finally when told it was resolved, i went to preview the issue the tech said was fixed. Nothing is fixed, still no options showing.

Very poor service, very poor support. I will also say that I have had zero correspondence from this company for FIVE DAYS. FIVE DAYS OF AN OPEN TICKET - A TICKET OPEN SINCE NOV 7th that had supposedly been escalated to 'level 2' several times. If your business depends on customers being able to customize products, look elsewhere.

This is a great app to expand the product options that you offer and allow for significantly more customer customization. Because of my theme the app wasn't able to self install. Bold took care of the installation (for free) in a few days though. Lawrence was great. A HUGE thank you to MC at Bold! In addition to the installation, MC worked with me (and worked with me, and worked with me) to get the option styling to match. I am very excited to see what the app does for my business!
