Hard to know which is better...the app or the support. George is extremely responsive and goes above and beyond. There's a tiny learning curve to the app, but once you've jumped to small hurdle, it's a fabulously easy program to use from our end.

I've gotten feedback from customers and they've also felt it's worked easily for them.

But...today I fell absolutely in love with Digital Delivery because I'd accidentally uploaded the wrong pdf file for a product. A customer clued me in. I went into Digital Delivery, uploaded the correct file...and THEN Digital Delivery automatically asked me if I'd like them to send an email to all customers who'd purchased that particular PDF, sending them a link to the correct file. OMG!! Do you know how much time that saved me? I was soooooooo happy to see that.

Definitely couldn't recommend the program more. Wish i could give it 10 stars!!

UPDATE: Have been using the app for a month now. It works flawlessly. And George continues to offer truly the best, most helpful customer service, ever. Ran into problems when I installed a new app, and George found the problem in no time at all.

Also have to add that I had noooooo idea that my customers were going to love our downloadable products as much as they do. It's made a huge difference in sales. Thanks, SendOwl and George!

Sendowl offers the flexibility we need, along with great customer support. They are always quick to reply and super friendly. Thank you for all you do!

Update 1/26/23:

After 5+ years of using SendOwl and 240K+ orders processed. I finally made the switch to the "Downloadable Digital Assets" app. Let me add some credibility to the review: We run a very successful digital asset based business and have been featured in several Shopify ads, marketing materials, etc.

A year ago SendOwl was purchased and came out with new pricing, taxing each transaction that was processed through their service. I'm self hosting on Amazon S3, so my monthly bill went up minimum 2x because I was "high volume". Ironically, all plans now have a per order fee attached to them regardless of volume. And a free plan asking 5%!? Get the #$&$ out of here! Shopify has a free app for that. I have no problem paying for a product that adds new features, but they never arrived even after multiple conversations with the new owner/CEO. Add to that multiple major outage incidents over the last 2 years and I finally threw in the towel. The new app I'm using has all the features I requested from SendOwl over a 2 year period, but was never delivered and I'm extremely happy so far.

SendOwl is a great product, but the pricing model is disgusting, the customer service sucks, outages are a real issue, etc.. I'm allergic to rent seeking and thank god we had a choice to switch to a better product. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app.

Been a SendOwl user for years. The product works. New features have been slow or non-existent and the customer service is awful. We've had amazing results delivering files to our customers until today. Several hundred orders are going unfulfilled and we're getting the classic "non answer" customer service.

Look at other options and alternatives for digital delivery needs before settling on SendOwl

I have been using SendOwl integration with my Shopify store for over 5 years now. It is a great service, and helps me to deliver my digital goods to my customers. The dashboard is easy to use, and setting up products is very straight forward. Any time I have contact support they have been very quick to reply and super helpful to get any issues solved. I would 100% recommend using SendOwl to deliver digital files to customers via your Shopify store.

Wonderful app! Easy set up and it just runs in the background and haven't had to worry or check up on it since it was set up. Delivers the content to customers fantastically. Its so refreshing to have an app that does what it says it does without frustrations, having to email support, or with time spent checking up on it to make sure its doing its job!

Usually reliable tool shopify, with even some interesting features like pdf stamping and drip function.
Been using this for years. Lately got somewhat disappointed with communication, like in a recent two day semi-outage, where nothing was proactively communicated, not before, not during, not after. Hence detracted one star.

It took me a while to make the switch from a former app to SendOwl but I haven't regretted it for a second. Sendowl offers me everything I need. Pdf-stamping, free orders, the possibility to combine automatic delivery of the digital goods and the fulfillment of our paper products and fabric by our warehouse partner and I like seeing reports of our digital sales.

I've been using SendOwl on my Shopify store for years, and it's honestly made selling digital products so much easier. The setup was simple, and I appreciate how it automates deliveries while still giving me control over download links. It's great to see my customers have a smooth experience, and I'm happy I can rely on SendOwl to keep things running smoothly. The whole process has become efficient and stress-free, which is exactly what I need!

I've been with Send Owl for nearly 5 years. Their service is impeccable and their support is excellent. Send Owl never goes down. NEVER. That's a stellar record to own for the five years they have serviced me. You won't be sorry.
