We really wanted this app to work for us, but it’s been a frustrating experience from the start. Basic functionality is unreliable — WhatsApp messages either don’t send, go to only a small percentage of our subscribers, or take over an hour for the included link to redirect users to our landing page. At one point, their own landing page domain expired, so our customers were sent to a broken link instead of our content. Alongside the sending issues, the campaigns are also not tracking any sales.
The pricing was also unclear. We assumed we had enough credits, but ran out mid-campaign with no warning (there also doesn't appear to be anywhere to check how many credits you currently have).
Customer support has been the biggest let-down. Our last few support tickets took 4-5 days for replies, and often just to tell us that it's been pushed further up to technical support.
We chose this app because of the great reviews, but we haven’t had a single one of our 7 WhatsApp campaign go out correctly. I’d strongly recommend others look elsewhere before committing.

Had my whatsapp number registered with Hextom, but for some reason the app wasn't capturing any subscribers, I asked several times for support to check, which they said their team would investigate, waited for about a week and still nothing, then asked for them to de-register my number, which is about another 4 days and still nothing (which means I paid for a phone number and now its stuck with hextom).
I was really willing to use the app when I read the other reviews, but with this support I'm giving up
I've had a great experience using Hextom for my Shopify store. The app makes it easy to reach customers with WhatsApp, SMS, and push notifications all in one place. Setting up automated messages was straightforward, and it’s been helpful for engaging with customers without needing to spend a lot of time manually messaging. My customers appreciate the updates and reminders, which has helped with conversions.
ON THE PROBLEMS
> No option to import/migrate current push subscribers.
> No option to import subscribers from Shopify.
> Font changes don't show up correctly on buttons. Tech support said they would follow up with the development team and get back to me, but that hasn't happened.
> Push won't work on iOS, according to tech support.
> Nuisance banner to leave app review barely 5 minutes into launching the app - banner appears every time you edit the widget.
> Incorrect message is the first thing displayed in the app dashboard saying that the widget is not installed even though it is installed.
> Tech support contacted 2 days ago for importing existing push and SMS subscribers and followed up two more times for outstanding issues - no response.
ON THE PLUS SIDE

Love this app! It does exactly what it says it will and has helped tremendously in getting the info we need to get to our customers (shipping, tracking etc).
It doesn't work on my premium theme.
Restock notify option did not work.
The abundant cart did not work from time to time.
IF it won't work we will uninstall the theme. it is very simple. but my point is that , this app owner reply is very slow. several times i informed there clean my snippet on my theme liquid. but the owner did not reply me or Ans me properly. i will inform the issue to shopify app department. everyone be careful to install this app.

The application was easy to set up on my website and use. The free features are valuable. I had no trouble with the functionality.
