its one of those apps that you install once and it keeps working in the back without you ever having to do anything. perfect, is does what it supposed to and without any fuzz, can really recommend!

Really solid app. It's easy to set up, easy to customize, and works extremely well. It completely eliminated the need to manually follow up with customers on back-ordered items and we like the weekly reports that tell us what people want the most.

DO NOT USE. This app is open to abuse by allowing unauthenticated notifications to be raised against products: 1) Someone could falsely register interest in products resulting in stock purchases by the subscriber that do not represent demand
2) Someone could falsely register email addresses/email list resulting in spam complaints blocking of e-commerce store
3) Someone could falsely register product interest that results in your subscription level be unnecessarily increased to the next tier.

Our mission is to offer shops a solution to allow their customers to easily sign up for back in stock notifications. With that in mind, notifications can indeed be created freely, but they go through an internal validation process to verify and flag those created by automated systems or deemed unauthentic.
Once flagged, such notifications are not visible and do not count towards the shops' quota. Also, we have the option to include (upon request) a reCaptcha, mitigating even further potential attacks on the storefront.
Paid plans will never automatically upgrade regardless of usage. Plan changes require an explicit approval from the shop owner through Shopify's charge authorization flow.

Back In Stock has been a seemles way of notifiying customers when items are back in stock. It literally requires zero effort on our end. They are also quick to respond when questions or issues arrise.
Just recently replaced a very old theme on our store but could not work out the integration, quickly dropped support a line, and they got back to me same day and did the integration there and then, great service that other apps could learn from.
Wild Oak Boutique
This app didn't work for our store. Customer service was slow to respond to the issue, and responded by asking us to delete and re-install the app. We did that and it still didn't work. We again emailed customer support and never heard back. Will need to look for another solution.
Great app. Super fast support - took the time to understand my needs and found a great solution.

We have been using Back In Stock for a couple of years now. We sell parts for motosports units, and customers were asking us all the time to let them know when we got something back in. This simple app provides the perfect way for customers to get notified without the hassle of us trying to keep track of our customer requests. A second bonus is that when you see a bunch of folks waiting on a specific item, you know you need to order some more. I highly recommend this product.
