Data Export IO: Report

I recently started using Data Export on Shopify, and I’m really impressed! The app is super customizable, letting me create reports that fit my business needs perfectly. It’s been a game changer for my operational efficiency.

What really stood out to me was their customer support. It’s fantastic! They were quick to respond to my questions, and I ended up chatting with them for hours. They patiently addressed every concern I had and made reports that met my specific requirements. Their dedication really sold me on the app.

This app is a total game changer - we have been looking for something like it for ages so when we found it there were tears of happiness. Completely customisable ways to extract all kinds of data, even fields that are "hidden" on the store front can be found and added to reports. Its made a huge difference for our high volume store - sorting orders into detailed dispatches for shipping and allowing us to see highly specific and detailed sales data. The support team are amazing and so fast and they had answers to all of my niggly questions.

I have recently started the free trial and am impressed. the response and help you get from the folks with this app is tremendous. we are company that has been doing business via a register for over 20 years so all the POS reporting is new to us and these folks have helped greatly in getting the data organized.

I had used Data Export and recently began having major issues with it's export feature to Google Drive. It would randomly scramble some data points (for example: rather than having the Delivery Date in the correct column, it would randomly show some other Value there). The Schedule feature was set to an hourly report, but it became extremely buggy (at two points it stopped exporting altogether). Support did put in an effort to help me, but it's beyond frustrating that this has happened at least 5 times and I rely on this for my bakery to process orders. At this point, I had to uninstall the app as support takes hours/days to reply. They aren't able to fix all my issues, and they can't explain why the Scheduler doesn't export every hour on the hour as promised. There were way too many work arounds required as well. For example, they couldn't figure out how to append new data to an existing tab on my Google Sheet, so they had to create a brand new tab and I had to manually copy/paste all data between tabs. While I would have given this app 5 stars in February, there are way too many bugs that have occurred this past summer and I won't be using this app moving forward.

Not only does the app itself offer fantastic capabilities for easily pulling reports and gaining valuable insights, but the customer service is truly exceptional. Data Export has been great for my business! I am a small business and because I don't use barcodes on my products, I'm not able to use the "scanner" on my phone to complete my inventory count. I wasn't able to find a way to print inventory reports in the Shopify app so that I could print my inventory lists for manual counting purposes.

Data Export has premade reports that allowed me to print off my inventory and sort/filter by Product Collection. When the count was complete, I was able to create a Custom Report to filter and sort my inventory data to create a report with the Collection, Product, Cost and Quantity information I needed to get a current inventory snapshot. Such a timesaver!

I had a couple of questions throughout the process and the customer service team for this app is AMAZING! The live chat is super responsive and each member I have chatted with has been able to help me resolve the issue I was having within minutes.

Hands down the best app we have found. We have used two very big named reporting apps that have costs us THOUSANDS and we were still never able to get exactly what we wanted until we found Data Export. The response from the customer service team is second to none-I didn't even know customer service liked this existed anymore. This app as been a HUGE time saver!

This app is great and has so many options for creating great reports. And best of all, their customer service is awesome. I couldn't find a report I was looking for and they quickly made one for me from scratch. I highly recommend this app!

Great app to add more customisation to default shopify reports. There's always times when you wish shopify reports had one extra column, but you can't add it. Data Export solves those issues with easily customisable reports and even better support.
