Data Export IO: Reports

Perfect when it comes to generating reports that are outside the scope of what shopify offers. Highly recommend and if you face any challenges the customer service is responsive and will go in and create exactly what you need!

We've been using Data Export for our Shopify store, and it has seamlessly integrated into our operations. The ability to schedule automated order reports directly to our 3PL partner has been a game-changer, ensuring smooth and efficient fulfillment. The app offers every filter and rule you could possibly need, making customisation effortless.

Beyond the functionality, the customer service is outstanding—any time we need adjustments or assistance, they are quick to help. Overall, this app has saved us countless admin hours and continues to do so every day. Highly recommend!

I had used Data Export and recently began having major issues with it's export feature to Google Drive. It would randomly scramble some data points (for example: rather than having the Delivery Date in the correct column, it would randomly show some other Value there). The Schedule feature was set to an hourly report, but it became extremely buggy (at two points it stopped exporting altogether). Support did put in an effort to help me, but it's beyond frustrating that this has happened at least 5 times and I rely on this for my bakery to process orders. At this point, I had to uninstall the app as support takes hours/days to reply. They aren't able to fix all my issues, and they can't explain why the Scheduler doesn't export every hour on the hour as promised. There were way too many work arounds required as well. For example, they couldn't figure out how to append new data to an existing tab on my Google Sheet, so they had to create a brand new tab and I had to manually copy/paste all data between tabs. While I would have given this app 5 stars in February, there are way too many bugs that have occurred this past summer and I won't be using this app moving forward.

've been using this Shopify app for a while now, and I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed. Not only does the app itself offer fantastic capabilities for easily pulling reports and gaining valuable insights, but the customer service is truly exceptional. The support team is incredibly fast, responsive, and consistently goes the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. They've made my experience seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend this app for anyone looking to enhance their Shopify store's analytics with top-notch support!

I had some challenges finding the right fields for my reporting in Shopify and so far Data Export IO has come to the rescue.

There has not been a field i can not export and report on.

This is one of the best apps we use for reporting. I love that you can connect to your Google Drive and get the reports as per schedule. We were able to automate most of our financial reports and it reduced the time of reconciling the payments for few hours. Also the support team is very responsive and helpful. We asked multiple times for custom reports and columns and they were always able to help. They will follow-up on email and make sure to address the issue if they unable to address right away during the chat.

Editing my review, unfortuantely. It has been about 7 months, and for some reason the past few months have been a nightmare with this app. It just stoppped working, and the customer service is horrible--seems like just AI, as we get the same responses over and over again, and they are working opposite hours so we don't get a response until 24 hours later, and no actual answers. It has caused hour and hours of work for my team. We used it for exporting hourly reports to google drive. I will no longer be using this app.

My shop has been in business since 1968 without a POS system. I took over in 2021, and after launching with Shopify this week, we still had not solved the problem of how to change our restocking process from analog to digital. We are unique in that we restock the sales floor every hour, because if we didn't the shelves would be empty due to how busy we are, especially in the 4th quarter. I was FULL of anxiety about how we would find a way to modernize without making the staff feel overwhelmed with all the change. I finally did some research into reporting for a VERY specific set of info; I didn't need financial reports or all the hundreds of reports you can find in a variety of apps, but something that I could compkletely customize. The reviews were good and it was compatible with Shopify so I started a chat with customer service. Within 15 minutes I had the customized report being generated and integrated with google sheets. Staff can now access or print the restock report and do what they need to do just like before. It is a HUGE weight off of my shoulders. I can't say it enough how relieved I am.
