I can't control what gets discounts, what doesn't get discounts, and I can't easily correct any issues. We need more control or just let our stores handle it all.

Doesn't allow any customizations / variations of the product. It's very difficult to implement. AND it's unclear why products get rejected, just that it doesn't follow the rules. Well, what rules?! What does it break?

Meta is absolutely useless as a sales channel. I lost access to my business page, and there is no way to restore it. Now my business page is bobbing in the Facebook ocean, abandoned. Additionally, I think Meta has already stopped understanding what they are developing and how to link together all their digital useless products.

The app is powerful, but troubleshooting can be frustrating. Some features are difficult to understand, and error messages are often unclear. Product synchronization and ad placement compatibility could be improved. Better support and clearer explanations would make the app much easier to use.

Worst customer support I ever experienced. Always need to be afraid my account gets banned for no reason and without any way to recover it. Even though I'm spending thousands on ads each day. Literally every single time I do something my account gets flagged for being hacked or something else. Professional Ad accounts should not be tied to a personal account.

Meta consistently has the absolute worst customer support I've ever had the mispleasure of dealing with. Thankfully, my first issue (a pixel mess up that their support took nearly two weeks to NEVER FIX costing me over $1000 in ad spend) was fixed with the help of ChatGPT.

My second issue has been going on now for 3 weeks and I've dealt with 13 different support people. Despite an admission from Meta's support that the problem was on their end with their call to action button, they've refused to issue a refund and somewhere around support person seven or eight managed to 'fix' the issue even though by then I had turned off the campaign that was the problem. Utterly useless, but if you want to make money you're stuck using them and they know it.

Absolutely do not allow this app to create a Facebook Business Portfolio for you, especially if you already manage multiple ad accounts. It will create one automatically, violating Facebook's terms for Business Portfolios (which is ironic since this is their official Shopify app), then they will restrict your account, and you won't be able to run ads. Nor will you be able to fix it by deleting the portfolio and creating a new ad account.

The app helps connect Shopify products to Facebook and Instagram, but setup can sometimes feel confusing for new users. Product sync is useful, and the sales channel integration is powerful once connected. Clearer navigation and easier business asset management would make the experience much better.
