Used loyalty points for many years but after reminding a customer to use their loyalty points I receive a message asking how. I find out that although the customers are receiving their points in their account, they cannot use them because I'm now on the basic plan with Smile and customers will not be able to use their points at checkout unless I now upgrade to Shopify Plus!!!!

Switched to an alternative app that does not require additional upgrades or Shopify Pus in order to function.

NOTE: upgraded from 1 star to 3 now please quit emailing and phoning which is getting a little tiresome

Our Shopify Plus required features have always been limited by what kind of customization Shopify allows on their checkout page. Luckily, there are loads of other ways customers can redeem and use points - on all of our plans, and we'd love the opportunity to help get that all set up with you.

We’ve been using Smile for our Shopify store’s rewards program, and it’s honestly been one of the easiest apps we’ve added to our site. Setup was simple, everything integrated smoothly, and our customers started using the points system right away. Customers get excited about earning points and redeeming rewards, and we’ve definitely noticed more returning shoppers since launching it.

Smile offers a fairly comprehensive loyalty system that meets most of our requirements. However, some details still need improvement, such as setting the number of rewards that can be redeemed for points to prevent the number of rewards from exceeding the expected amount.

The smile loyalty ad on on my Shopify store has brought my customers back ! The team helped me through some problems with my DNS and Shopify , they went beyond what they needed to do as it was a issue with my settings but they made sure I was able to understand everything step by step .

We’ve had a great experience using Smile.io for our rewards program. The integration with Shopify was very easy and seamless, and our customers absolutely love earning rewards points.

One of the best parts of Smile.io is their customer service. Every time we needed assistance, their team was always responsive, friendly, and willing to help us find a solution quickly.

The only feature we wish was available for all Shopify stores is the ability for customers to redeem points directly at checkout, since currently this is limited to Shopify Plus stores. Other than that, we are very happy with the app and highly recommend it.

While we like the app, it's the support that we care about most. Every app has its quirks and none is perfect, but it's the people that are the difference between winning and losing. Quite specifically, Lisa was that difference and the reason Smile became the perfect solution for our business need.

Smile.io has been terrific. Their support team, Lynn & Shelby have been so great and helped me clean out thousands of discount codes and identified a problematic email issue I would have never caught on my own. I'm really impressed with the level of hands-on help. I highly recommend them.

The app works well and the support is good. I get frustrated that maintenance happens during South African business hours. We lost a big sale because a customer in store could not use her points while maintenance was being done for 6 hours.
