hello! The software is indeed 100% free just so as long as you are happy to keep the little "powered by tawk.to" link on the chat widget.
You can add unlimited agents, and add it to unlimited sites and use it free forever - the only "add-on" option is $12/m to remove our branding, which is 100% optional. Not necessary, and you definitely are not obliged to remove branding :)
Super SUPER APP; they say free stuff are not good, Let me tell you this App much much better than most Apps i am paying. Thank you Robert.

We've tested every chat app available and settled on this one. It's stable, works across all devices, has great non-buggy features that just work and to boot, it's free!!! Can't argue with free.
It's amazing the way it works and has a free iOS and android app. You can't really run your business without and it maximizes your potential to grow your business from a customer service endpoint. You can even custom design the look and feel of the chat window with ease in the dashboard. What amazing work you guys did and the seamless integration capabilites for many platforms!

If I could give this app more stars I would. This app is awesome.The dashboard is amazing. The app on the phone is a great addition to have. No need to be sItting at your laptop all day,. Your phone will ding when someone is sending you a message to chat and you can chat with your customer right on your phone. I really love this app. Its FREE and the set up was easy!
