Bold Custom Pricing has been a great way for us to provide a dynamic, functional wholesale channel for our B2B customers on Shopify without having to invest in Shopify Plus as we are still growing to a level that justifies that level of investment. It's easy to use, affordable and the support team has been great.

Shout out to Chintak for helping me unlock some extra functionality and troubleshoot a few issues we were having. Highly recommend!

Total disaster. It fails constantly and has ended up costing us far more money due to incorrect pricing, on top of the app’s own cost. Absolutely not worth it.

Update Feb 12 2026: While trying to remove the traces their support folks messed up our order numbers sequence, we are reporting this to Shopify app support.

The Bold Custom Pricing app is in serious need of a revamp some features don't work and whole store slows down. To ensure better performance and reliability it really should be aiming for the 'Built for Shopify' badge. We eventually uninstalled the app with the assistance of Bold's support team, but unfortunately, it still left traces of code behind on our store. A cleaner, more complete uninstall process is essential.

I have been very happy with Bold Custom Pricing App. I have been using the app since 2020 and the app has worked seamlessly.

I actually use it in combination with the Bold Recurring Membership App - both apps have worked wonderfully. When I was first setting up the two apps I reached out to tech support and was happy with the quickness of the response. I really appreciated how they listened to me. Their response was tailored to my question - not a pat answer.

Recently I had some questions - again I got wonderful support. Chintak responded quickly and helped me achieve my goal. Go for it - you'll be glad you did.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SHOPIFY POS! This app says it compatible but Shopify POS does not work with this app. No volume price breaks, no custom customer tags, nothing.

Still no updates to being able to search for items by SKU. If you have a lot of products this is a pain point that should be addressed.

Good app overall. Nothing mind blowing and the UI can be updated.

The ability to not search for editing product pricing based on SKU should be fixed.

Wholesale Pricing Discount and Wholesale Gorilla offer a better UI, real people to talk to for support, and NET Terms if that matters to you.

After a LOT of trial and error with other platforms, we finally found the perfect solution with stellar support. We have a fairly complicated catalog for our wholesale program and need a lot of customizable options when it comes to discounts, quantity breaks, mix & match deals, etc. BOLD has been the only app to help us build out a wholesale portal for our clients that can still utilize coupons, give mix & match quantity breaks, and most importantly - give us the support we need as a small business.

BOLD recently made some updates that have been game changing for us but we had no idea how to even utilize them until we were connected with Taylor & Jade from the BOLD support team. They were absolutely OUTSTANDING and I wasn't very pleasant when I initially reached out. (I had a less than great experience with an unrelated tech support incident and was just exhausted and cranky). Regardless - Taylor and Jade were nothing but kind, patient, and clear about how they could help us solve our problems.

I literally woke up today to a demo version of our store completely migrated to a new discounting method that has been applying all of our complicated discounts wonderfully!

Great communication. Wonderful support. Fast work. And FINALLY a solution after almost a year of trying to offer a seamless online wholesale experience for our customers. We tried ALL the wholesale apps you can think of and nothing had the flexibility, customization, and support that we needed except for BOLD. 10 out of 10 stars!

If I could give this app negative stars, I would. Perhaps it works fine if you have under 100 products OR if you just want to apply discounts based on amount spent.

However, if you are trying to set up pricing based on Customer Tags so they only see their pricing, this app is complete trash in that regard. It absolutely failed every step of the way. Not only does it take FOREVER for it to sync data, the logic is so poorly thought out that it has to RESYNC every time a price change is made to the shopify price.

ummm ever heard of a check? You know to check which data is updated and which is the same and then only sync the updated data? Apparently the team at BOLD has not figured that out. No, seriously they actually haven't considered it.

But then get this, even after it re-syncs EVERYTHING, it does not always update the pricing for every item. And to top it off they don't keep an error log for the SYNC you just spent hours waiting for to understand what the issue(s) were are.

Now, let's talk about their support. That is limited to 9am-5pm CST with NO OPTION for support outside of regular business hours. This means if you run into an issue with their app, they are non-existent after 5pm CST, and don't even try to get ahold of them on the weekends.

OH, did I mention that when the app is syncing parts of the app don't work? Yep, forget about reviewing products or anything else in the app while it's syncing because you can't access them... at all!

This app is so poorly coded, its logic was not thought out in the least, the UX is confusing and problematic and their support seems to have zero idea why things don't work and respond with... "It works for other people"...

If you are considering this app, RUN! DO NOT WALK AWAY. It is a complete waste of time and energy.

There are a few nuances to how fast prices can be updated, so some of that isn't able to be changed, but I'd love to hop on a call and hear any feedback you have on UX improvements.
