CPB ‑ Custom Product Builder

Shopify doesn't make custom variables easy. I went through dozens of apps trying to find a way for customers to just simply specify their desired membership number. The team at Custom Product Builder was responsive and effective and got this done when others could not.

This app has been a life changer for our custom sites. We are passionate about custom and in the past we even developed our own custom tool and that was a huge mistake. This app exceeds every single feature of any other app out there. The app developers are extremely responsive and proactively adding new and great features to the tool. The color overlay feature is one of my favourites and allowed us to reduce the image quantity almost 10x. Before we used to have each render for each colour, now we simply use the base renders with the specific textures and apply the colour overlay, and it looks almost as good as before. Highly recommend this app to anybody who is willing to do custom products in Shopify. Massive thanks to the Alex and all the team behind this great app!

Support is incredible. I had so many questions/concerns but they walked me through every problem I encountered and I ended up with an absolutely incredible, one of a kind jacket builder that isn't anywhere else in the world! $50/month for this feature is so worth it. Yes you have to put in the work - make sure all your images are the same resolution and have proper transparency to layer. But the end result is great, though the learning curve is high.

This took us some time to get right, but the team was very helpful and supportive and able to make the custom features that we needed work. We have found the support very good. This has been a huge goal to get this feature on our site, and we are very happy with the results. The back end is very user friendly to make changes, and the team is very open to improvements. Highly recommend.

After years of looking for an app that would let me do what I wanted, I finally found this app. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It's extremely powerful and every function you could possibly want is built in. On top of this, the develops are so helpful and amazing to work with.

Great apps and also great customer service. quick response and even if we have to be wait they notify us in advance. Their support is always easy to understand, use screenshot effectively, our question is clearly solved by them.

First and foremost, I would like to address some of the reviews that disparage this app for being complicated and difficult to learn. The developers have posted DOZENS of step-by-step articles (buildateam.zendesk.com) that address almost anything that could arise while learning how to navigate the interface. There is always going to be a learning curve that ONLY trial and error will teach. But, for what this app is capable of, it is well worth the investment in time. At least for us, the cost of the app and the amount of time spent learning it has resulted in far less time on things that either don't work, or don't accomplish our goals. After two years of refining graphics for our Shopify Store (still under construction), We were convinced that our only choice for product page presentation was going to be to render the tens of thousands of possibilities for customizing our products ourselves, and split them into several categories and collections. Luckily for us, we spent most of that time on layered graphics illustrations, that can now be used to allow the customer to choose their own opinions, thanks to Custom Product Builder. Something we have always wanted to be able to do. This app has simplified our website development to the point where we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel ! We couldn't give it a higher recommendation....

I am usually not the kind of person to leave reviews unless I have a spectacular experience. The customer service team is truly amazing! They respond within 24 hours and also provide a free 30-minute set up session for your store's needs.

They initially recommended that I start with the basic plan and see what I need. I started with that and now have upgraded to the pro plan and won't ever turn back to any other plugin available. The inventory management, customisation options and settings available are just not comparable to their competitors.

For my particular store, I needed a lot of customisation and changes. The development team were patient despite me not knowing much about coding and how the app along with Shopify works together and guided me through the whole process. I can say confidently that my store is working perfectly as is with this plugin. Magda, Vlad and Egor were especially helpful in responding to my queries promptly and solving my roadblocks.

I would definitely recommend this app and give it a go for 30 days free. It sold me within days.

Since changing builders we have seen SALES SPIKE! These guys are the best option that we have found after searching far and wide among all product builders/customizers. They are masters of Shopify and code to customize the cart experience and product customizer for our customers! The app is very simple to use and is extremely user friendly and offers great customization and updating that you can do yourself! We are exited to be working with Vlad and Egor for the long haul! Custom products are an important part of our business since we manufacture our own products. Coming over from a Magento website with a very complex custom made product builder, we did not think we would be able to recreate our offer by simply using an app.

After reviewing many apps, we decided to go with this one and found many great features. Since we have so many options to offer, we had issues with the preview not working all the time. The developper investigated the issue with us an found a solution.

Now we have 2 very complex custom product builders on the site and looking forward adding more in the next months. The app is simpler to use than what we had on Magento and also offers nice backend features to see what the customer build using option, codes and an image.
