This app is a major downgrade from the previous barcode app and needs major improvements that should have been evaluated before the new app was released. HUGE disappointment!

Mostly easy to use, but: shopify does not allow enough templates to choose the sizes of labels that we actually need, so we have to select a "nearest" size and print at 73%.
Thank you for taking the time to share this review with us. While we have recently made a few updates to the app, they should not be affecting your ability to use the Dymo printer.

Started out bad, got a little better, now it's worse than it started out. I was hoping it would be great, but now its not even working on Safari.

Although the app should work on any up-to-date browser that we support, Shopify recommends using Chrome with the Retail Barcode Labels app for a more consistent experience. I was pretty nervous to install this as there are SO many bad reviews. BUT, they must have fixed some bugs because I just installed it and was using it in less than 2 minutes. It worked with my old barcodes and I found it easier to avoid mistakes than the old app. It opens a pop up on my browser when you send it to the printer. Maybe some people have a complete pop up block so that stops it from printing? Who knows, but go ahead and install this one, your store isn't going to implode.
For a long time all went fine with our barcodes. now suddenly it makes duplicates of barcodes for diffrent products, even the products have diffrent SKUs!! even we have only about 4000 diffrent variants-barcodes.... It is a huge mess for us, as we are traped in this App. All our products are in store POS an are labeld with barcode labels!! i hope to get an answer from the developers to help me solve this problem! Please contact us! It's a worst case scenario!

This is an exercise in frustration. Too many adjustments to be an efficient use of time. The previous barcode printer was far superior in its' ease of use. Please make some user friendly changes!! Soon!!!

Would love compatibility with Numerous other Labels... pretty frustrating to only be able to chose from such a limited amount of options.
There should also be an option where Barcodes are created automatically.
Having to Manually Create Barcodes every time a new product is added is extremely frustrating and counteractive towards efficiency and productivity.
Nevertheless it is understood that Shopify is an Online Sales platform and not POS, but the option to have Barcodes and a tagging system is defiently in the right direction.
It should just be way more user friendly, offer plenty more options as far as Barcode templates, and the processing flow of getting the barcodes to print should be a whole lot more simpler than it is right now.

The old app was wayyyyy more efficient! There is no need for so many steps. This one is CRAP! I wish I could give it zero stars.

The bar code app used to assign barcodes to products that didn't have them. Now, you have to have it create a barcode specifically by the product and it takes so much longer. I hate the new app - not user friendly - or time saving.

This app has just made my otherwise very good experience with Shopify...a very bad one! Way more time consuming and frustrating for labelling.....any plans to bring the other app back?? please
